Chapter 39: Introduction
Predica is well suited to defining data models for the core systems of VoTa: identity, monetary accounts, commerce, the registration of public services, voting for direct democracy, recording the rule of law, tax collection, and the allocation of tax revenue to UBI and public services. Predica is grounded in predicate logic and allows strong constraints to be defined on the data.
This Predica model can be regarded as an illustration of how the core VoTa services might record information; it is not intended to be prescriptive. It is simpler than the model that would be expected in a real system. For these reasons, it is not part of the VoTa constitution.
