5. Launch another client and update from the repository

Wilma launches an instance of CoEdit on her computer as follows:

coedit RC=dinoserver:2000 N=Wilma

The following window is displayed:

Note that Fred's changes haven't appeared yet! In order to retrieve the latest version checked into the repository, Wilma must select Update in the menu:

Note by the way that the menu items Revert and Check In are greyed because Wilma has no local uncommitted edits in her working copy.

Updating from the repository causes the text last checked in by Fred to appear in Wilma's editor:
